GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR SHORT-TERM PARKING
The following conditions apply to the use of the Schweizerhof Car Park Lucerne:
1. WITH THE USE OF A PARKING SPACE, THE FOLLOWING TERMS AND CONDITIONS ARE ACCEPTED:
1.1 Cars must be locked in the parking spaces. Insurance against theft, fire and other damage is the responsibility of the short-term parking user or the lessee. The multi-storey car park declines any liability. The parking spaces are video-monitored.
1.2 Cleaning and servicing of parked cars is prohibited. Car accessories and other items may not be stored in the parking spaces.
1.3 The short-term parking user undertakes to follow all verbal and written instructions from management.
1.4 Short-term parking users are liable for any damage they cause when using the multi-storey car park.
1.5 An offsetting of counter-claims is excluded.
1.6 If short-term parking users lose the ticket or the ticket becomes unusable, it will be replaced for an incidental fee of CHF 50.00.
2. LUCERNE PARKING CARD
2.1 The user shall be charged the fees for the use of the paid parking spaces in accordance with the valid rates of the relevant parking operator.

3. VIDEO SURVEILLANCE AND NUMBER PLATE RECOGNITION
3.1 Short-term parking users are informed by means of a display that the car park is under video surveillance.
3.2 The video recordings and the associated technical equipment are processed by plant employees.
3.3 The recordings are only copied or stored externally after an editing order has been issued by the public prosecutor’s office or a court. The recorded data is protected by organisational and technical measures against unauthorised access by third parties.
3.4 The recorded data will be deleted after one week at the latest, unless proceedings are pending.
3.5 No personal data is disclosed to third parties. This does not apply to an order issued by the public prosecutor’s office.
4. PLACE OF JURISDICTION
4.1 The place of jurisdiction for any disputes arising from this contract is Lucerne. Swiss law shall apply exclusively.
