1.1 The operator of the car park is Tiefgarage Bahnhofplatz AG, Lucerne. In the following text, they are referred to as ‘the operator’.

1.3 The Altstadt Lucerne Car Park, Lucerne is under video surveillance. The surveillance images can be recorded. The images recorded by the video cameras may be made available to the criminal investigation authorities in the event of unlawful acts.
1.4 In the event that the car park is fully occupied by short-term parkers, the long-term lessee is not entitled to a parking space or access to the multi-storey car park.
1.5 The instructions of the operator must be followed in all cases.
1.6 Rental interruptions shall not be granted for holidays or other absences of the lessee. The ticket cannot be saved for this purpose.
1.7 If a company makes a large number of reservations for an event, the long-term tenant is not entitled to a parking space or access to the multi-storey car park.

7.5 The validity of the Lucerne parking card is limited to five years from the date of the last charge.

GTCs
With the use or rental of a parking space, the following terms and conditions are accepted:
Cars must be locked in the parking spaces. Insurance against theft, fire and other damage is the responsibility of the short-term parking user or the lessee. The multi-storey car park declines any liability. The parking spaces are monitored by video.
Cleaning and servicing of parked cars is prohibited. Car accessories and other items may not be stored in the parking spaces.
The short-term parking user or the lessee undertakes to follow all verbal and written instructions from management.
The short-term parking user or lessee is liable for any damage they cause when using the multi-storey car park.
Counter-claims may not be offset.
Lessees are not permitted to sublet or assign the lease without the landlord’s written consent. Tickets are non-transferable.
The lessee is not entitled to a fixed parking space.
If the rent is not received by the 5th of the month at the latest (= date of bank receipt), the ticket will be blocked and only released upon payment of the rent in cash or proof of payment. If the fifth day falls on a Saturday/Sunday/public holiday, the rent must reach us by the last working day before the above-mentioned days. If the rent is not transferred via a standing order, the payment slips must be requested from the car park. In order to prevent misuse in individual cases, we take the liberty of blocking the vehicle if necessary.
A change in the VAT rate is automatically adjusted. All utility costs are included in the rent.
Rental interruptions shall not be granted for holidays or other absences of the lessee. The ticket cannot be saved for this purpose.
If short-term parking users or lessees lose their ticket or the ticket becomes unusable, it will be replaced for an incidental fee of CHF 30.00 in cash (long-term tenant CHF 120.00).
In the event of ‘FULL’ (traffic light on red), the lessee is entitled to free entry and a parking space.
If a large number of parking spaces are reserved for an event, lessees are guaranteed access.
Account information can be viewed at any time by logging in online.
The user undertakes to pay the charges charged to the Lucerne parking card via the internet or in cash. The Lucerne parking card may only be used if the user is not in default of payment.
The user will be charged the fees for the use of paid parking spaces in accordance with the valid rates of the relevant parking operator.
Administration fees (account maintenance fees) are not yet charged. However, there are plans to introduce an account management fee when expanding the services in the online shop.
If the account remains overdrawn or unused for an extended period of time, the corresponding account will be blocked until the accrued parking fees have been paid.

Users are liable for any damage they cause when using City Parking.

The user undertakes to comply with all oral and written instructions from management.
If the car park is FULL, the long-term tenant is not entitled to access the car park if the car park is blocked by a short-term car parker.
Distributing flyers is prohibited. Distributing flyers or similar advertising material in the city car park under the windscreen wipers of the cars or the entire site is strictly prohibited. In the event of non-compliance, we will charge for our inconvenience.

2.1 The user shall be charged the fees for the use of the paid parking spaces in accordance with the valid rates of the relevant parking operator.

3.4 The recorded data will be deleted after one week at the latest, unless proceedings are pending.
